Configure Spam Filter
NOTE. This documentation only applies to users with classic products from Freeparking.
Spam filters help manage incoming emails by identifying and handling messages that match defined criteria, such as suspected spam or unwanted content.
This article explains how to configure spam filter settings and outlines the steps for setting up rules to manage incoming email.
By default, your mailbox is already configured to filter spam messages. However, if you'd like to review or change the filter settings, you can follow the steps below.
- Access your Mail Control Panel.
- From your list of Mail Accounts, select the email address or mailbox you want to update.
- Click SHOW ADVANCED OPTIONS.

- Scroll down to CONTENT FILTERING and apply your preferred settings.

- Spam Filtering – Tick the box to turn this off or on.
- Tag messages scored – Leave this as a default.
NOTE: We suggest that you keep the default setting at 5 as the accurate threshold score. Setting a low number will impose a stricter spam filter rule. On the other hand, a higher number will make your spam filter rule more lenient and allows more room for messages that are obviously spam.
- Deliver to Webmail Spam – Select this to direct all spam to your webmail’s spam folder
- Deliver to Users Inbox – Select this to direct all spam to the user's inbox.
- Refuse messages scored – Leave this as a default.
- Update the AUTOMATIC MESSAGE CLEANUP section.

- Spam Folder – Set the days the system should automatically delete contents in the Spam Folder.
- Trash Folder – Set the days the system should automatically delete contents in the Trash Folder.
- Click SUBMIT to save your changes.
