Manage Auto Responder and Email Forwarding
NOTE. This documentation only applies to users with classic products from Freeparking.
This guide shows you how to set up and manage an email auto responder and email forwarding. By following these steps, you can automatically reply to messages and send incoming emails to another address when needed.
Adding Email Auto Responder
- Log in to your Mail Control Panel.
- Click MANAGE ACCOUNTS.
- Click the email account that you want to manage.
- Scroll down and click SHOW RESPONDER & FORWARDING OPTIONS.
- Tick the Responder (Vacation) On checkbox.
- Enter the responder message that you want to automatically send (as a reply) to anyone who will send you an email.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click SUBMIT to save the changes.
To turn this off, just untick the Responder (Vacation) On checkbox, and click SUBMIT.
Adding an Email Forwarding
- On the same page where you see Responder, tick the Forwarding On checkbox.
- In the Forward To Address, enter the email address where you want the email messages to forward. If you want to forward it to your other email account, you can use the OR another account option. Just select the existing email in your account from the dropdown where you want the email messages to forward.
- Tick the Keep a Copy check box if you want to leave a copy of the forwarded messages in your inbox. Leave this option untick if you don't need the copy of the message.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click SUBMIT to save the changes.
To remove, simply untick the box, remove the Forward To Address entry, and click SUBMIT.
