How to Enable or Disable Two-Step Verification System

What is the Two Step Verification System?

The Two-Step Verification System provides a login to the customer console via one additional check – mobile phone verification. This will help you increase the security of your domains, products and personal information.

The first step is to enter your login credentials (login and password) as normal. Then you will receive a verification code on your mobile phone, which you will need to enter to proceed to your account.

How to Enable the Two-Step Verification System

To enable the two-step verification system, follow the steps listed below:

Step 1. Click Sign Up / Log In at the top of this page.
Step 2. Ensure that Account Manager is selected.
Step 3. Enter your username and password, then click Log In.
Step 4. Click on the Visit My Account button.
Step 5. On your Home page, click Edit Profile.

Step 6. Click on the Security tab.
Step 7. Scroll down to find the Two-step verification section, then tick the box beside Enable two-step verification. A Primary Phone input will appear.

Step 8. Select your country and enter your mobile number. The verification codes will be sent to that number.

Step 9. Click Verify.

Step 10. On the Phone Verification Code pop-up window, you can choose between two verification methods: Missed Call or SMS.

To receive the verification code via Missed Call, select I am ready, call me now! and use the last four digits of the receiving phone number as your code.
To receive the verification code via SMS, select Do not call, send me an SMS.

Step 11. Select a verification method from the drop-down list and click on the Get Code button.

Step 12.  Enter the code and click Submit. A timer will appear which automatically changes to a link that you can click if no Missed Call or SMS is received after one minute.
If via Missed Call:

Step 13.  A confirmation message will appear if the verification code entered is valid. Click OK.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully enabled your two-step verification.

How to Disable the Two-Step Verification System

If you want to disable the two-step verification system, here’s what you need to do:

Step 1. Click Sign Up / Log In at the top of this page.
Step 2. Ensure that Account Manager is selected.
Step 3. Enter your username and password, and click Log In.
Step 4. Click on the Visit My Account button.
Step 5. On your Home page, click Edit Profile.

Step 6. Click on the Security tab.
Step 7. Scroll down to find the Two-step verification section, then uncheck the box beside Enable two-step verification. Your Primary Phone input will disappear.
